Though Pooja was the first child in the family of Gopal bhai and Jasu ben, Khushi brought more happiness to the family as one can always find a sweet smile on her small face. She was born to the GopalBhai family which was living in a small village called Jamjodhpur in Gujarat.

In August 2017, Team Sankalp crossed 2 major milestones. Sankalp-People Tree Center for Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation, Bangalore crossed the 50 mark of the number of patients transplanted. We were able to achieve this just before its second anniversary. By August end, we reached 55 number of transplants .

Thalassemia is an inherited genetic blood disorder that does not allow the production of normal healthy red cells. Bone marrow transplantation from a HLA-matched sibling donor can be a safe option for definitive cure but the chemotherapy used to get rid of the diseased marrow may cause infertility.
Rajnikant and Minakshi, living in a small village near Junagadh in Gujarat, were filled with joy when their first son was born. All the senior family members were also happy. They named him Ronak which meant grace, and by the grace of God he was their gift. Truly he brought "Ronak" in their family.

Sukrana Two years back, in the first few day of March, Sukrana received her bone marrow transplantation at South East Asia Institute of Thalaasemia Jaipur. It was the first transplant supported by Sankalp India Foundation and the beginning of a journey towards cure from the disease.
